Daylight Saving Time
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009Just a reminder, Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 AM. That means move the clock forward 1 hour. Spring ahead and Fall back. Most computers will automatically adjust the pc clock, but not all appliances have that feature. The same with alarm clocks, some adjust by themselves and others don’t.
We came across an interesting article you might enjoy titled, 13 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Daylight Saving Time.
Have a GR8 day!

Amazon, PayPal, Google and Merchant Checkout
Friday, January 16th, 2009Can you believe it’s the middle of the month already? The good news is we’re making GR8 progress with implementing new payment options for our many wonderful customers around the globe. From the beginning, we have had a merchant account which allows us to accept and process Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex payments. We have also always accepted PayPal payments.
Just two days ago, we put the finishing touches on implementing Amazon checkout as well as Google checkout as available payment options from our website shopping cart. And just last night, we received our first Amazon payment. We love it when things work the way they should.
As a side note to our International customers, we also accept payments via Moneybookers.com . Currently, this payment option cannot be integrated with our shopping cart. Nonetheless, you can pay us directly at Moneybookers.com by sending payment to sales @ gr8prices.com.
Once, while dining at a local restaurant for the first time, my family and I were ordering dinner when it was brought to our attention that the establishment only accepted cash. Who carries cash when plastic is the standard now a days. Luckily, there was an ATM across the street. Needless to say, we believe in giving our customers options. Why put limits on your business and risk sending customers next door. Especially as a virtual company, our customers don’t have to walk anywhere, just click the mouse.
We look forward to your comments, thoughts and ideas.
Happy shopping,
Greg
To Blog or Not To Blog?
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008Hello customers, friends, family and all interested parties. I’ve debated for over 2 years now whether or not to take on this endeavor. I don’t think I’ve ever been so indecisive about anything in my life.
Since our core business at GR8Prices.com is the software industry, that’s what I’ll blog about the most. I’m open to all suggestions for topics of discussion, such as software manufacturers, software programs, software support issues and problems, tips and tricks, technology tools and gadgets, business topics, how to’s, etc. In other words, let’s make this blog something useful for everyone. It’s not all about me and my daily activities of running my company (blah blah blah).
I look forward to this learning process as much as teaching or simply leading discussions.
Have a GR8 Day!
Wishing you the best of success in all you choose to do,
